James tells us to consider pure joy

" consider pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance..." james 1:2-3

The key word here is whenever ... it doesn't say if you face trails it says whenever you face trails...so remember to choose joy in whatever trail you are facing...often hard times in our lives can bring forth learning and growing in the lord.
