diy side walk paint: 1 tablespoon of corn starch and 2 tablespoons of water , mix together and then add food coloring. It was that simple. I added a little more water to get the starch mixed up...it tended to clump up at the bottom. I would also recomend using a silcone contanier or one that you just throw away when finshed.

note: go easy on the food coloring ... a little goes a long way ... the darker the color the harder it was to wash off. seriously go easy on the color. I would also wash it off as soon as possible.

overall: A TOTAL HIT! Both kids loved this. They loved making it, mixing it, and painting with it. They even loved cleaning it up with the garden hose afterwards. This provided at least an hour of play time.

This is Jude's favorite game. 

He calls it "rolling ball". 

Forget Christmas presents and birthday presents. The boy loves to stack up QT cups and throw a ball at them.all.day.long.

{THIS was such a huge hit... Jude has played everyday for a week} {elisabeth liked this Jude  got bored after the second number} { THIS was hands down their favorite!! I thought for sure I was going to set it up and then they would play for about 5 mins, but they played for quite a while}

I am always looking for fun ways to entertain tweedle dum and tweedle dee.

I saw this idea on Pinterest a while back and tried it with Elisabeth & Jude.

The prep time was super easy! 

Just  bowl of water with different weighted objects...so that not everything is sunk to the bottom.

freeze overnight and bam ... 35 mins of press bliss. 

We used a bowl of warm water and spoons to pour over the ice in order to make it melt.

Elisabeth loved it...

Jude said it was hard to do and cold...but then asked to do it again.
