this weekend/ 

I made THIS roast beef and cooked it to an eternal temp of 135 like the recipe says /// cut into it and I am fairly certain it was still mooing.? epic fail. Don't worry the hubs came to rescue and finished cooking it on the grill. (thanks hubs)

I also made THIS coleslaw recipe and added blue cheese. This was not an epic fail, it was oh so good.

Harvey was let out of captivity, and even got to sleep upstairs.

Elisabeth read the entire book of  Go, Dog, Go. She is such a good little reader. I am so proud.

Lyla was/is teething. Poor thing. She is miserable, and cranky, and not napping. 

The hubs rocked THIS song at worship, and it has been stuck in my head ever since.

We went to a baptism on Sunday, Elisabeth and Jude watched. Afterwards Jude told me, "Mom.? I love Jesus, BUT I don't want to put my head under that water." he may or may not have made me laugh.

p.s. yesterday it was 70+ degrees in January!? don't be jealous though tonight we will be getting snow...

oh hey guys? remember me? you used to let me sleep on your lap in the car? I am not sure if the above photo is snuggling or a choke hold? either way it was fun, lets do it again!?

anyways I am not sure if you forgot, but I am still in the basement. I just thought I would remind you, you know just in case you forgot? did you forget that I am still down here?

hey dad.? tell mom I am sorry I almost puked upstairs all over the clean floors.
note to self: self, don't throw up on the floors or you'll get put in the basement.

hey mom.? tell dad I'm sorry he had to clean up all my puke...in the basement. I probably wasn't feeling well b/c I ate that plastic carrot nose from the snowman. oh! also tell jude and elisabeth I am sorry i peed all over their snowman and eat his carrot nose.I know they weren't happy about that.

While I am apologizing ... tell dad I am sorry i keep jumping on the treadmill. I am just trying to work off those pesky christmas pounds i put on.

hey?! remember that time I went out side, and started barking, and barking. you guys came outside to see what was going on ///only to find that  I had been sprayed in the face by a skunk?  good times. good times.

Dear Dad (aka hubs) 

I am sorry I mistook that lightbulb in your hand for food, I honestly thought you were bring me a treat. I am also sorry for dunking my head in water and then shaking it right by yours. I though changing a light bulb looked liked hard work and maybe you needed a cool down.?

While I am apologizing. Tell mom I'm sorry for eating another book. I heard you guys talking about how you wished I was a tad bit smarter...so I thought I would gain some knowledge. Apparently eating a book is not the same as reading one. 

Note to self: eating books is frowned upon in this house.

Hey remember that time when I was a puppy and I dug a hole through the drywall in the garage and then tunneled my way through the wall? I then proceed to take down all the garland and christmas lights on the banister... yeahhhhh good times. good times. 

Anyhoo... If you get some free time today I would love to sit on your lap and snuggle...I will pencil you in ... around 6-ish...? I'll be waiting!
